We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags and steering wheels and you can be part of our team as Supplier Quality Engineer.The AEU Supplier Quality Engineer for the respective Product Area is responsible to assure the Quality Performance for the respective suppliers from the Project stage till End of Production, going through all SQP activities and maintenance of the Quality System in Serial Production.If you think you'll like to manage the following responsibilities at higher standards:Serial topics:Claim management:

Owner of the 8D process from D4 to closure (including NCM issues from all Divisions)
Ensure Yokoten activities at D7 for similar parts and processes at the supplier causing the NCM.

Global Yokoten as required.

Validate and verify the root cause(s) and action(s). (On site supplier visit as required)
Owner of the NCM escalation according to the NCM Escalation model

Audits

Execute regular supplier audits.
Execute on-site supplier activities for assigned suppliers in collaboration with the SQ Manager.

Supplier development initiatives
Ensure that the supplier annual layout inspection report is available in ALV system.
Responsible for the on-site supplier verification for Delivery Approval Report (DAR) effectiveness and DAR updates as required.
Ensure that specific customer requirements are applied at concerned suppliers.

Project topics:Sourcing

Actively involved in new component sourcing and development process

Involved in the TFC and CTS process with Purchasing, Engineering and Suppliers.
Involved in CLD definition together with Project Buyer and Engineering.
Involved in contract review with Project Purchasing.

SQP

Owner of SQP (S-APQP)
Define the SQP tasks based on the CLD and PPAP level required.
Define/Agree on timing for the SQP tasks and milestones with the suppliers.
Follow-up completion of SQP tasks
Lead supplier production trial runs and participate in Run at Rate per CLD.
Perform audits and PFMEA Go, See and Fix as applicable for new projects. Use and distribute SMPFMEA to suppliers where applicable.
Define the Incoming inspection / DAR template and manage the IIP (AS412) at the supplier as applicable..
Owner of the PPAP approval. (Ref. AS100, AS007, and AS404)
Escalate SQP delays / deviations according to AS404.
Responsible for Measurement Agreement Sheet (MAS) with support from Engineering/ Supplier
Ensure that Lot size requirements comply with AS004 and escalate deviations if needed.

Actively connected with Purchasing functions.
S-MPS implementation for new projects
Represent SQ function in” Component” GPM teams when assigned.
Sign off drawings including Master Drawings, One Global Drawing (OGD) etc.
Assist Engineering in the transfer of Customer Specific requirements to the suppliers (TFC Review)
Involved in pre-APDS projects through Purchasing.
Assist other divisions in terms of supplier onsite project activities when requested.

General

Travel expectation 40%
AS051 rating for RESP and SQP performance
Follow-up poor AS051 rating with the supplier

and if you have/are:

Work experience for a minimum of 3 years in a similar position
English - required to be fluent (verbal and written.
Local language (if other than English) - preferred to be fluent (verbal and written)
University (Engineering) or similar
Excellent interpersonal skills
Willingness to travel
Experience in negotiation technics.
Problem solving tools knowledge.
