- Ensuring the development of promotional materials for trade shows and conferences;
- Liaison between the company and advertising agencies, print suppliers and other marketing services;
- Ensuring preparation of company newsletters, press releases and event announcements;
- Managing the development of promotional strategies and product development;
- Oversee preparation of event agenda, invitations, registration forms for customer events;
- Responsible for media and marketing event budgets;
- Track prospective contacts, seminar attended event revenues and expense tracking and ensure budget is run properly.
- Overseeing the formulation, interpretation, implementing and reviewing of Communication and marketing policies, strategies and programmes;
- Overseeing the coordination of corporate functions and events;
- Overseeing the promotion of a positive corporate brand and visibility of KYEB;
- Providing interface between KYEB and stakeholders;
- Coordinating the implementation of corporate social responsibility programmes;
- Managing the preparation of KYEB’s materials on the website and social media platforms;
- Managing internal and crisis communication;
- Overseeing the maintenance of an up-to-date communication and media database.
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -
- Minimum Ten (10) years relevant work experience of which five (5) should be in supervisory.
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: - Public Communication, Public Relations, Mass Communication, Journalism or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
- Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines: - Public Communication, Public Relations, Mass
- Communication, Journalism or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
- Certificate in a Management Course or its equivalent lasting not less than four weeks from a recognized institution;
- Be a member of a relevant recognized professional body;
- Certificate in computer applications skills from a recognized institution; and
- Demonstrate high standard of professional competence and management capabilities as reflected in work performance and results.

- The successful candidate shall be required to provide the following documents before issuance of the offer letter in compliance with Chapter 6 of the Constitution 2010:
- Valid certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.
- Self-declaration form duly executed by the Ethics & Anti – Corruption Commission.
- A tax compliance certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
- Clearance certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
- Clearance certificate from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
