- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to this domain.
- Product Vision and Roadmap:
- Define and communicate a clear product vision aligned with business objectives for a set of custom solutions, with a clear growth path of that feature domain.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create and prioritize the product roadmap.
- Ensure alignment with organizational goals and user needs.
- Requirements Gathering and Prioritization:
- Elicit, document, and prioritize user stories and functional requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and actionable requirements.
- Agile Leadership:
- Lead agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups.
- Foster a collaborative environment and drive continuous improvement.
- Feature Delivery and Quality Assurance:
- Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality feature delivery.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of new features.
- User Advocacy:
- Champion user needs and represent their interests throughout the product lifecycle.
- Gather feedback and iterate on features to enhance user satisfaction.
- Release Management:
- Coordinate product releases supported by a release manager, ensuring smooth deployment and minimal disruption.
- Collaborate with technical teams to address any issues promptly.
- Vendor Collaboration:
- Engage with external vendors as needed for product enhancements or integrations.
- Evaluate vendor solutions and make informed recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification is a plus.
- ServiceNow Certification (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist, Certified Application Developer) preferred.
- Experience working with a Scrum tool, ServiceNow preferred
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role within an IT environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders.
