- Conducting feasibility studies and assessments to determine the viability of implementing new business systems or enhancing existing ones.
- Designing, developing, and implementing (non-) engineering business application solutions through collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
- Managing the integration of different business systems to enhance efficiency and to streamline business processes and data flow across Damen Naval.
- Ensuring that Damen Naval its business systems comply with security standards and regulations.
- Implementing and enforcing security protocols to safeguard sensitive data and information.
- Developing and managing the IT budget for business systems, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
- Ensuring that Damen Naval its business systems comply with security standards and regulations.

- 7+ years of experience in IT business system management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an IT or similar technical study.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, services, and regulations.
- Good command of the English, and preferably also Dutch language (written & verbal).
- Excellent antecedents as a pre-employment security screening and investigation are a part of the recruitment procedure (given the military nature of our projects).
- EU citizenship or valid EU work visa is required to be considered as a viable candidate.
