- Responsible for all activities and processes, including process optimization within the departments, and working with operational systems (WMS/WCS) to engage the relevant departments;
- Initiating process optimization to increase efficiency;
- Guiding and training colleagues, ensuring tasks are executed correctly, and safety protocols are adhered to.;
- Accountable for the department's productivity, identifying opportunities for optimizing productivity both individually and for the entire department;
- Collaborating closely with other supervisors within the warehouse to achieve overall objectives;
- Taking responsibility for personnel within your department, including collaboration with temporary staff based on daily/weekly demand and workload;
- Training, motivating, and developing the team to enhance performance and achieve goals, including conducting performance reviews and managing absenteeism;
- Adhering to health and safety protocols and other required measures at the Service Center;
- Leading and/or participating in process optimization projects within the department/Service Center;
- Preparing and presenting supported analyses and reports;
- Responsible for inventory shifts within the department and informing relevant departments accordingly.
- Bachelor's degree level of education and thinking ability Minimum of a Vocational Education and Training (MBO) level 4 diploma in Supply Chain or a related field;
- At least 3 years of work experience in a distribution center environment, preferably with experience in omnichannel;
- Process knowledge within logistics and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems;
- Experience in training, motivating, and developing a team;
- Proficiency in conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback;
- Excellent communication skills suitable for a broad audience, from management to logistics staff;
- Willing to work in a shift in 4 week schedule:\week 1: early shift from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., week 2: day shift, week 3: day shift and week 4: late shift from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays once every 8 weeks from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m
- Attention to detail and previous experience working with databases and reports;
- Strong ability to build work relationships and collaborate with other departments to coordinate activities effectively;
- Fluency in both Dutch and English, both written and verbal;
- Fulltime availible.
