- Contribute to the definition, analysis and consolidation of system security requirements.
- Contribute to the definition of security reference architecture for space systems.
- Support system reviews through projects’ lifecycle on security aspects.
- Analyse vulnerabilities, assess their impact and propose suitable security mitigations and countermeasures.
- Analyse evidence of fixes of vulnerabilities.
- Assess Requests for Waivers / Requests for Deviation on security aspects and provide recommendations regarding their acceptability.
- Organise and supervise security audits / vulnerability assessment / penetration testing activities on ESA projects and programs and analysing their results (including analysis of evidences of findings and corrections).
- Provide support on Research and Develop activities during their lifecycle (writing the Statement of Work, assessing Industry proposals, supervising the implementation).
- Provide support to the Information Security Officer (ISO).
- A Master or PhD degree or equivalent in Engineering (preferably in cybersecurity, or computer science, or telecom, or aerospace), with a strong knowledge and experience in Security engineering / cyber security.
- At least 4 years of working experience (in space field, is an asset);
- Knowledge of space systems and ground systems architecture.
- Good knowledge in network protocols.
- Very good knowledge in security best practices and hardening guidelines.
- Knowledge of modern applied cryptography.
- Knowledge on Information Security Management Systems.
- Knowledge on CCSDS protocols and standards is a plus.
- Candidates must be eligible for security clearance from their national
- security administration.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
