- Conduct detailed product cost analyses (including material, labor, utilities, overhead and other relevant cost components) to ensure accurate standard product costing.
- Maintain and update product Bil of Materials, ensuring they accurately reflect current production processes and materials.
- Allocate indirect costs to products accurately, considering cost drivers and production volume.
- Assist in inventory valuation and reconciliations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and accurate financial reporting.
- Analyze and report on cost variances, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Continuously seek opportunities to streamline costing processes and enhance the accuracy of product cost calculations.
- Work closely with production, procurement, and finance teams to gather cost-related data and provide insights into cost-saving initiatives.
- Prepare and present regular reports on product cost trends and cost-saving opportunities to management.
- Master degree within Finance or Business / Civil Engingeering.
- Proven experience in product costing, cost analysis or a similar role within an industrial environment.
- Strong analytical skills and a high level of accuracy in data analysis.
- Strong problem-solving abilities allowing you to work in a changing working environment.
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 is a plus.
- Proficient Excel knowledge and affinity with BI tools.
- You are Hands on and have a no nonsense approach.
- Excellent interpersonal and communicational skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- You are fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken.
