GEOxyz is a leading international survey company specialized in hydrographic, geophysical & geotechnical and topographical surveys, site investigations, renewable energy support and crew transfers for the on- near and offshore industry.The company operates primarily in the North Sea basin and liaises with highly qualified people (about ~ 450 employees) as well as state of the art vessels and equipment.In order to sustain our growth and continue to meet the evolving needs of our clients, we are currently looking to fill a range of exciting new roles across various departments.Be the captain of your career, come sail with us!In search of Survey Support EngineerAs survey support engineer you assist on project mobilizations, oversee and follow up of survey installations,configurations and setup on board of vessels and capture and share lessons learned.- MOBILISATION
Overall responsibility for mobilization of projects of (offshore) survey vessels.
Plan, organize & manage vessel mobilizations to minimize vessel time required for mobilizations.
Align with other departments to manage resources across operations and avoid efficiency loss.
Development of commercial budgets and work schedules for mobilization activities.
- TROUBLESHOOTING AND KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENTFollow-up on fault reports reported by the vessel.Document findings on trouble shooting.Standardization of vessel setups and configurations.- GENERAL SURVEY SUPPORTSupport the sales department by providing technical support and consultation during the tendering stage or assign necessary persons if needed.Provide ongoing support to the vessel(s) throughout the operational phase of the project.Use the lessons learned from the project in way that can be passed back to the Sales team in the project wash-up meeting to improve future work- QHSEFollow company QHSE procedures including incident reporting, registration & investigation.Participate in drills, training and any other QHSE employee consultation participatory activities.Take reasonable care for the health, safety & environment of themselves & others who may be affected by their acts or omissions at work.What do we expect from you?You obtained a degree in a survey related field.You have 3 years of relevant work experience.You have a good understanding of survey and survey organization/project management.You have knowledge of navigation, geophysical and subsea equipment and software.You are a teamplayer and have good communication skills.You work organized and have an eye for details.What do we offer you?A challenging job in a fast-growing environment.A good working climate within a young dynamic team.A competitive salaryThe chance to actively grow within our organizationYou will work with the newest high-tech equipment on various projects.
