Civil Engineer (Kuching)

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 2 years working experience.
• Fresh graduates are encourage to apply.
• Must be flexible to travel to project sites in Sarawak.
• Excellent knowledge of construction industry, technology, methodology, management and contract.
• Excellent mathematical, scientific and IT skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and methodical way of thinking.
• Good at listening, following instructions and communication skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
• Well verse in JKR and PAM form of contract, Uniform Building by Laws, Sarawak Building Ordinance, Local Authorities Requirements and understand the implications of Health and Safety Regulations.
• Well organised, able to work independently and able to meet deadlines.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Project, Excel, Words, Power Point, AutoCad, and BIM software.

• To manage construction project and overseeing building works.
• To undertake surveys, setting out and organising facilities.
• To check technical designs and construction drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.
• To supervise contracted site workers.
• To liaise with clients, subcontractors, consultants and other professionals
• To prepare site reports and diary, filling RFI and QAQC, and other paperwork.
• To ensure that health and safety, and sustainability policies and legislation are adhere to.
