Offer DescriptionPresent project aims to evaluate the antioxidant and cytoprotective properties of eco-friendly extracts, from by-products of chestnut processing (e.g., bark and bur), in cellular models of gastric inflammation. Particularly, the research fellow's activity will focus on the characterization of the cytoprotective properties and related mechanisms of the extracts of interest towards the oxidative and inflammatory agents in human gastric epithelial cells, both normal (GES-1) and tumoral (AGS) ones. The obtained results will help to identify new strategies to counteract Helicobacter pylori infection, which is responsible for the onset of gastritis and gastric adenocarcinoma and whose eradication is hindered by the antibiotic resistanceRequirementsResearch Field Pharmacological sciences » Pharmacy Education Level Master Degree or equivalentInternal Application form(s) neededBando A.R. 04-2024_allegati.doc_.pdfEnglish(401.39 KB - PDF)Additional InformationEligibility criteriaqualifications and interviewSelection processsee art. 6 of the callWebsite for additional job detailsWork Location(s)Number of offers available 1 Company/Institute Dipartimento di Fisiologia e Farmacologia "V.Erspamer" Country Italy State/Province roma City Roma Postal Code 00185 Street Piazzale Aldo Moro 5 GeofieldWhere to apply E-mailconcorsi.fisfar@cert.uniroma1.itContact State/ProvinceItaly CityRoma WebsiteStreetpiazzale Aldo Moro 5 Postal Code00185 E-Mailconcorsi.fisfar@cert.uniroma1.itSTATUS: EXPIRED
