We're seeking passionate individuals to join our dynamic team as Family Practitioners for our Multicultural Adolescent Violence in the Home (AVITH) program. Our AVITH program is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at addressing harmful behaviour within families, focusing on young people from diverse cultural backgrounds. We're committed to providing tailored support to those who need it most, empowering them to build healthier relationships and futures.Your Role:As a Family Practitioner AVITH, you'll be at the forefront of our initiative, engaging with the community, networking, and establishing a strong client base. Your role will involve providing direct support to young people and their families, conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and actively participating in community engagement activities. Get ready to collaborate with a range of professionals and agencies to deliver comprehensive care and support.Requirements:

Passion for making a difference
Experience working with adolescents and families
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work some weekends and evenings
Flexibility to travel within Carlton and Wyndham
Qualifications in social work or equivalent (Diploma level or higher)
