We are building a new manufacturing facility on the outskirts of Miskolc which will primarily include assembly, and office accommodation.Our Miskolc facility will represent an important regional facility for the driveline technologies that GKN Automotive supply to our global customer base and in phase-1, we will employ up to 500 people from the local community in 2023, and will continue to develop the site over time in further phases in line with our ambition to double (or even triple!) the scale of our site.As such, we are investing heavily in the development of state-of-the-art facilities, to ensure our teams have the tools and resources they need to grow, succeed and thrive in our environment.We invest in our people and every employee has a development plan focused on their specific career and learning objectives.   • Understand the company's development strategy and understand the team's role in its implementation and communicate to team members
  • Prioritizing, scheduling and enforcing tasks
  • Ensuring the proper resources needed for the team
  • Overseeing the tool room layout plan
  • Manufacturing tooling
  • Planning tool room development, necessary investments
  • Planning your own work and that of your team in accordance with the applicable Labor Law, Health and Safety, Fire Safety and Lean Enterprise principles
  • Taking care of the technical condition of the tool room machinery and equipment
  • Construction of tools and tooling
  • Approving tooling construction documentation.
  • Confirming the feasibility of tooling in terms of design and technical capabilities of tooling suppliers (tool shops)
  • Discipline and safety
  • Enforcing work discipline and compliance with procedures by subordinate employees
  • Teamwork
  • Stimulating teamwork and individual performance through delegation of authority and responsibility

Requirements
  • Higher technical education with a mechanical profile
  • Minimum 3 years of expierience in toolshop leader position
  • Ability to manage and develop member of team
  • Openness to technical innovations
  • Knowledge of technological process planning methodology for tooling manufacturing
  • Pro/ENGINEER, CATIA, Pro/Intralink, AUTOCAD (and other CAM softwares)
  • Open to travel
