Job Description:Administration and maintenance of Oracle databases for performance critical, highly available, software applications, involving Oracle RAC, Oracle ExaCC and Data Guard. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. At least 3 years of experience as an Oracle DBA, with profound knowledge in Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c, Oracle RAC and Data Guard. Oracle Certification, such as OCP, is a plus. Experience with Snowflakes, Cassandra, PostgreSQL databases is a plus. Familiar with AT&T internal system for generating and managing change requests (CR), TROUT, HALO, UAM, and SACT reports, is a plus. Perform database tuning, performance monitoring and optimization, using performance monitors and various tuning techniques. Interface with Oracle Corporation/SA/SDBA team for technical support, as and when required. Must be adept at database maintenance task such as: importing and exporting, server troubleshooting, server patching, server rebooting, server security issues, and outage handling, with an emphasis on outstanding customer service and detail-oriented project management skills.
