IT Systems Manager - BellvilleFull job descriptionJob DescriptionPepkor Speciality has an exciting new opportunity for an IT Systems Manager within our IT department.The IT Systems Manager will lead and manage a team of business analysts and be responsible for analyzing, leading and coordinating all cross-functional IT development activities within the Pepkor Speciality brand’s and will be required to work both technically and cross functionally with relevant stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesManagement and optimization of merchandise and non-merchandise systems through evaluation of current systems, the proposal of enhancements or changes to the system/processes and training and development of users.Management of stakeholder relationships and service delivery of internal and external stakeholdersRecommended and facilitated implementation of new system solutions and/or system enhancement solutionsProject Management of related IT projectsUser system support: Set-up and maintain users and group security on financial systems.Financial Management of opex and capex budgetsLead a team of Business analysts and manage all people related outcomesWork closely with Users within the various business units to understand the business needs, prioritize delivery with Pepkor IT and manage delivery.QualificationsDegree in Information Systems or related discipline essentialKnowledge, Skills and Experience5 years leadership experience in managing a successful team.Minimum of 5 years’ experience with 3rd party Planning, merchandise (JDA, ERP systems, WMS) and BI systems (Business Objects & Qlikview) in a corporate retailer.Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the Systems Management environment; managing multiple projectsExperience in working across several different business units and functions.Proven track record of optimization of Business processes.Financial Management and experience in the management of budgetsExtensive Project Management and IT knowledge.Knowledge of retail business systems and related processes (IT).
