Responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with the approved national policies and procedures and the policies and procedures of the University Affairs Council and ensuring that inputs, processes and outputs move towards achieving the entity's objectives.
  • Participating in the preparation, development and implementation of the entity's’s policies, procedures and operations in accordance with the directions and strategies of the University Affairs Council
  • Broad understanding of administrative, financial and technical shared services methodologies.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies and policies to improve shared services and ensure that needs are met effectively and sustainably
  • Contribute to the supervision of day-to-day management of shared services.
  • Coordinate and manage joint operational processes between different departments to improve cooperation and achieve the organization's goals.
  • Analyze current operations and identify areas that can be improved and simplified to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Provide advice on developing new policies and procedures or amending existing policies and procedures to improve shared operations.
  • Prepare periodic reports on the performance of shared services and provide the necessary evaluations to improve operations.
  • Supervise the work and activities of shared services and general services.
  • Overseeing the management of shared services sectors to implement joint operations efficiently.
  • Monitoring compliance with financial and administrative policies and procedures and taking corrective measures in the event of deviations.
  • Conducting cross-functional analysis, planning, implementation, evaluation, and monitoring of strategies and operational plans.
  • Documenting the interim achievements and ensuring that they are in accordance with the entity’s plan and strategies.
  • Assuming responsibility for managing the entity's financial affairs, including setting goals, implementing systems, regulations, decisions, and instructions, managing budgets, analyzing financial data, managing cash flows, preparing financial reports and the annual budget, accounting, and securing funds, monitoring contracts, documents, and contracting.
  • Planning and managing the general budget and notifying it in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Finance, including following up on revenues and expenditures and ensuring the use of resources.
  • Supervising all financial operations and auditing them financially and systematically in terms of attachments, accuracy of accounts, and validity of signatures and authorities.
  • Taking measures related to providing the necessary material and human needs and equipment to ensure the progress of work.
  • General supervision of warehouse management and ensuring optimal conditions for preserving property.
  • General supervision of purchasing and supplies management, including searching for suitable suppliers, conducting comparisons, and submitting offers
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred in BA, human resources, finance, accounting and information technology.
  • At least 10 years of experience in management, or 5 years in Shared services sectors
  • It is preferable to have courses in the fields of management, human resources, finance, or information technology.
  • Proficiency in Arabic, and preferably English
