- Perform technical planning, system hardware-software-network design, development and integration, verification and validation, and fielding. Evaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability, and analyses for total systems.
- Perform systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition, technical management, integration, system testing, and quality assurance.
- Lead a multi-discipline team of engineers to identify system implementation approaches and provide technical oversight to ensure system level requirements are met.
- Generate technical documentation including system architectures, test plans and procedures, and test reports; and providing recommendations on technologies and industry trending.
- Contribute to future capture/pursuit opportunities, including white papers, RFI responses, or proposal of technical volumes.
- Candidate must be a US citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
- Requires BS degree and 15 years minimum of prior relevant experience or Masters with 13 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience in one or more of the following: RF theory, wireless/SIGINT technologies, microwave principles and system/subsystem-level analysis methodologies
- Working knowledge of the radio frequency spectrum and modern communication infrastructures to include signal structures, propagation, modulation types, data rates, multiplexing/demultiplexing methods
- Experience in HW integration and corresponding HW & SW integration
- A broad knowledge of project management
- Excellent communication skills- oral and written
- Active Security Clearance
- Experienced in advanced waveforms and antennas for communication systems.
- System design experience and collaboration across multiple engineering disciplines, such as electrical, electronics, mechanical, software, and computer engineering.
- Experience with the following:
- Hardware design (RF, digital, and analog) to include printed wiring board layout, schematic, and wide knowledge of component functionalities.
- Design life cycles and various environmental requirements
- VHDL design and implementation
- Simulation tools including MatLab, Python and Labview
- Using various test equipment- Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer, and other RF/Digital equipment
