Procurement Analyst (12-month Term)Main FunctionsPurchasing:
  • Organizes internal purchase requests.
  • Creates purchase orders and issues purchase requests to vendors, suppliers, and toll manufacturing partners.
  • Submits inter-company orders (Interco’s) as required for finished goods.
  • Tracks PO fulfillment.
  • Engages vendors and suppliers for restocking as directed.
  • Explains any cost variances between issued PO’s and vendor invoices as required.
  • Follows and aligns procurement processes.
Inventory Management:
  • Virtually receives purchased goods into appropriate warehouses with delivery confirmation.
  • Provides monthly reconciliation of inventory stored at tolling sites based on physical counts.
  • Onboards new suppliers.
Toll Manufacturing:
  • Issues purchase orders as finished goods become available.
  • Completes production orders in Lallemand’s ERP system.
  • Tracks production progress relative to established production plans.
  • Maintains close relations with toll manufacturing partners.
Technical skillsRequired
  • Procurement and sourcing techniques
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite of products (emphasis on Excel).

  • Understanding of proper handling and storage of living microorganisms
