- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in international development studies, environmental science or policy, public policy/administration, applied/environmental economics, finance, or another relevant field is required.
- Minimum of five years of experience in implementation of donor-funded projects-climate adaptation, water resources management, or flood management activities preferred.
- Knowledge of Pakistan's climate, water governance, and agricultural policies and the challenges facing their implementation required.
- Demonstrated technical expertise in some combination of the following: water governance and management systems, community-led water systems, private sector engagement, market-oriented water management systems, water and agricultural policy advocacy and reform, capacity strengthening, green infrastructure and nature-based solutions, safe drinking water, ecosystem services, urban flooding, and flood water management.
- Knowledge of inclusion of marginalized populations is preferred.
- Experience with USAID-funded activities preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Urdu are required.
