- Must have approved, documented evidence of an advanced proficiency in an area of clinical/research specialization that adds considerable value to patient care, departmental or programmatic function, or to the discipline itself.
- Certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation is required.
- Individual must demonstrate competence across all age groups due to the diversity of the children and families served by KKI.
- Clinical care focus is on the neonate, pediatric, and adolescent populations, as well as some adults with disabilities.
- Must have a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, with related clinical requirements.
- Must have a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology granted by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
- Eligibility for Maryland State Licensure in Speech Language Pathology.
- Must have four years’ experience in Speech Language Pathology (including CFY), at least three of which must be in a documented specialty area.
- Must have experience providing parent training, home-based and/or center-based service delivery, and coordination of community services.
