If so, let's start the conversation.THE OPPORTUNITYTitle: Global Safety, Risk & Security Senior Manager – Western Europe (France, Benelux & Spain)Location: FranceGlobal Safety, Risk & Security (GSRS)GSRS is responsible to the Chief Risk Officer for spearheading strategic global safety, risk and security efforts aimed at protecting assets (people, property, information, operational capability and reputation) against risk of injury, loss or damage from criminal, hostile or malicious acts.GSRS develops and assists management with the implementation of safety, risk and security and asset management programmes and the promotion of safety and security awareness. It conducts the initiatives to implement the IM GSRS Model (Safety, Security, Business Continuity, Risk Management)The function is responsible for the development and maintenance of a robust process for the response to crises and emergency situations.Job summaryProvide risk-based and data-driven solutions to ensure a safe and secure work environment, hyperfocused on safeguarding our human capital, physical assets, customer assets and our intellectual property which align with Iron Mountain’s core values while maintaining shareholder value.Increase collaboration across business functions to ensure Iron Mountain sites remain compliant with all company safety and security policies and standards as well as any local governmental regulations.Respond to and when necessary lead local incident response teams in the event of a business interruption (natural and/or man-made).Lead a cadre of GSRS professionals across the cluster ensuring they adhere to the GSRS Vision of Differentiation and execute on the GSRS mission of providing risk-based/data-driven risk mitigation solutions.Conducts studies and investigations to ensure compliance with safety, security, risk and resiliency and local laws, standards and regulations.Investigates accidents and security incidents and promotes safe and security-conscious work performance and training programs.Provides safety and security performance measures.Determines root cause analyses.Overall Leadership of the Safety, Risk and Security Function in cluster by providing strategic advice and support to the business in key areas of Safety, Risk and Security and Resiliency.Your role in our mission:The execution of the overall Iron Mountain Safety, Risk and Security Policies, Procedures and Plans.Supporting Iron Mountain leadership in developing and implementing a coherent approach to Safety, Risk and Security at both cluster and country levels.Counseling business units on the management of safety, risk and security in line with Iron Mountain Policies, expectations and protocols by providing the tools to deliver Group wide solutions, and assisting them in regular self and external assessment in order to develop and prioritize risk and mitigation strategies and provide assurance.On a regional or area specific basis, work with businesses to ensure compliance with governmental safety, risk and security regulations or requirements. Provide expertise to the business along these lines.Provide advice on safety and security design and strategy for implementation of technical safety and security measures for current or proposed critical and major capital projects.Network effectively throughout and liaise with Internal Audit, Facilities Mgt, Human Resources, Real Estate and other service providers on areas of shared risk. Externally, establish and maintain liaison with professional contacts in relevant bodiesThe Manager will provide strong leadership and technical support to team members and local management; where needed, coach local management to improve their leadership abilities and team performance - partnering with decision-makers/business leaders to manage expectations and create synergy in efficiencies.Provide subject matter expertise in the development of programs and training designed to achieve safety, risk and security performance requirements.Ensure all incident documentation is completed correctly and is reported in compliance with local regulation and legislation, as well as meeting Iron Mountain internal standards for reporting and recording.To work with Ops Leaders and Facility Managers to ensure all nominated sites are well prepared for assessment audits by external certification examiners; and ensure any conformance observations or recommendations are actioned effectively in a timely manner.Valued skills and experience:Significant Safety and Security experience, gained working in a large corporate, warehousing or logistics environment.Prior relevant experience in the leadership of safety / risk / security areas of responsibility.Outstanding analytical skills with evidence of devising, building and implementing processes and procedures from scratch in addition to the ability to implement Safety and Security Risk Management programs and systems.Highly developed network in the existing Safety and Security Services across the region with evidence in support.Proven track record of dealing with multiple cultures and across multiple business areas.Evidence of successful delivery of “fit for purpose” Safety and Security solutions and developing and delivering relevant training programs.Ability to work with, encourage and influence leaders, staff, their clients and contractors.Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.French, English language and written skills are essential.
