We’re seeking a skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer, primarily focused on delivering high quality solutions to overcome complex challenges for the Vello application and help push the boundaries of what is achievable in this space.At launch Vello key features include:Automated appointment reminders and confirmations that reduce no-shows and save valuable time for teams.Health service reminders that inform pet owners of upcoming or past-due services, such as vaccinations or annual wellness visits.Online scheduling that enables pet owners to conveniently request appointments directly from health service reminders or through the Vello software.Pet owner mobile experience that eliminates the need for an application download, providing full digital access to pet health records, appointment information, prescription history, test results, and more, all from a mobile web browser.Two-way texting that enables immediate connection with pet owners, automatically updating the patient record and communication log without character count limitations or extra fees.Pre-appointment instructions that drive both visit and diagnostic compliance, including fecal or urine sample reminders, drop-off and pickup times, and recommended blood work.If you want work with real purpose, solving key challenges in the animal health industry with innovative cloud software, this is the opportunity for you!Where you’ll play!Create technical design documentationBuild large scale or complex projects that are fit for purpose and achieve the desired resultBuild code that is beautifully crafted, highly scalable, and maintainableMonitor, evaluate and improve projects as they are released (agile)Write perfectly crafted unit testsProvide senior code reviews for code to ensure code that is released is robust and does not break other areas of VelloRefactor the low-level framework objects to improve the performance and scalability of the Vello platformContribute to high level tech stack related discussions and aid in driving our application forwardBe a role model that junior and intermediate engineers can look up to for guidanceWhat you’ll need:Proven experience as a Senior Software EngineerProven technical capability with software designExperience leading technical advancements to solve problemsExperience with principles and practices related to cloud technologiesPrevious experience in SaaS environmentExperience is valuable with the following technologies: Node JS, React, Typescript, SQL, AWS.Working knowledge of Test Driven Development.
