- Support the Internal Audit Team to deliver actionable analytics and insights and extend it as an integral component of internal audit engagements.
- Communicate the analytic results to stakeholders and senior management via dashboard, written reports and presentations.
- Lead individual use cases to ensure audit requirements and value delivery.
- Conduct data cleansing to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data.
- Provide analytics support utilising data analytics tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, correlations and analyse complex data sets for anomalies, patterns, and risks.
- Create visualizations, reports, and dashboards to present findings and communicate insights effectively.
- Collaborate with other audit team members to enhance audit methodologies, integrating data analytics as a core component of the audit processes.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data-driven audit findings to improve IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
- Communicate analytic results via dashboard, written reports and presentations to management.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in data analytics and IT auditing.
- Work independently under general direction with comprehensive attitude for initiative and independent judgement.
- Provide data analytics sharing to other audit team members to enhance their abilities in applying data analytics within audits.
- Ensure high quality reporting to the Audit Committee.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or related field.
- Previous experience or internships in data analysis, professional Data Science qualifications such as CAP or equivalent designation are a plus.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages, ideally Python.
- Proficiency in analytics and query tools, ideally Alteryx, KNIME.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools, ideally Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau.
- Experience in working closely with senior management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to convince and influence others.
- Commercially focused.
- Strong analytical and report writing skills.
- A self-starter, independent and able to meet tight schedules.
- Ability to create and maintain good working relationships with colleagues at all levels from various business units.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Willing to travel (10-20%)
