The Senior Sales Director will be responsible for building on the excellent track record of Access-IS in the sector and further enhance and expand it with the Biometric range of products that are coming to market. It will be critical to further build out industry collaboration and end user engagement and to strengthen profile of HID in the sector. Initially the individual will focus on the technology and products from the Access-IS and Biometrics BUs. It is envisaged that the role will also have responsibility for the products and technology from the RFID BU relevant to the market.The Senior Sales Director will have a strong, resume-qualified background in leading and growing a multinational sales team and in growing market share, shaping go to market strategy, identifying, nurturing, developing and closing new accounts with a focus on the Aviation sector.   • Working with management team to develop effective go-to-market strategy and channel programs to drive growth.
  • Extensive customer interaction with key influencers to drive growth, loyalty and competitive displacement.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales forecasts and effectively manage the sales cycle, including building an effective sales pipeline and channel assuming responsibility for yearly, quarterly and monthly sales projections and revenue results.
  • Identifying, recruiting and managing an ecosystem of partners, including software providers and systems integrators.
  • Personally selling solutions into strategic accounts or partners.
  • Developing and fostering relationships with end-user accounts.
  • Leading and developing team, ensuring regular and accurate sales activity and account updates to management through direct reporting and CRM (e.g. Salesforce.com and other CRM systems).
  • Collaborating with marketing communications team to develop awareness and lead generation campaigns and provide support to their execution.
  • Providing market intelligence and feedback. Keeping abreast of any new developments or competitive information that may enhance or threaten growth initiatives for HID Extended Access Technologies.
  • Influencing, managing and driving accountability of people without having direct authority over them. Taking a “hands-on” approach and assisting the sales team in closing deals.
  • Motivating and maintaining a high morale performance-driven culture.
What we will love about your background:

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Your Experience and Education include:
  • B.Sc. or B.A. degree in a business or technical field.
  • 12-15+ years of demonstrated relevant experience in sales with a proven record of accomplishment in achieving multi-million dollar revenue targets and strategic growth goals in the Airports & Airlines sector.
  • Well-rounded sales leadership experience with proven ability to develop and grow new markets, influence markets, bid, negotiate and close deals with end users and with partners with a strong historical achievement against quota.
  • Strong account management and ability to become a trusted advisor to customers
  • Minimum 10 years experience selling technology solutions and products, including some products within Biometrics, RFID or document scanning devices.
  • Significant experience in managing multinational team to drive global results.
