To direct and supervise the Maintenance team to assure delivery of effective mechanical, electrical, control and instrument support/technical services to evaluate the plant status. Assure delivery of effective mechanical support/technical services to evaluate the PFS for the plant status.KEY RESPONSABILITIES
- Manages and maintains engineering support and technical services to project areas in order to achieve safety, reliability and service objectives for the project.
- Read and understand drawings and engineering part specifications.
- Assist with developing of a Master Mechanical Equipment List (MEL).
- Assist with developing of a piping list indicating pipe specifications, lengths, and bends.
- Assist with developing of a non-driven (ND) MEL (chutes, feeders, guards, covers, structures, etc.)
- Assist with developing of a Master Electrical Equipment List (EEL).
- Assist with developing of a Master C&I Equipment List (CEL) incl. all control systems and SCADA systems.
- Assist with developing of a Master cable and cable racking database for all ECI equipment installed.
- Developing a GAP list of what was not installed, but required according to the original design documents.
- Do a condition assessment on all mechanical and structural equipment on site that is either installed or stored on site.
- Do a condition assessment on all electrical and C&I equipment on site that is either installed or stored on site.
- You will be required to strictly adhere to and promote safety, security guidelines, the quality policy, and environmental practices applied to your department, as well as the company's values charter.
- Recognised Trade Diploma with 4 technical theoretical subjects (N3 level) or with Grade Twelve and 4 technical theoretical subjects
- Code B Driver’s License.
- Five Years as category 2 Artisan with Mechanical maintenance experience, plus three years at Supervisory level
- Maintenance experience in a processing plant environment.
- Project management experience.
- Construction management experience (indirect).
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
