Work Schedule: Monday-Friday/Full time/40 hours per weekEssential Functions:
- Process Complete work orders for shipment: Tally order quanti ti es, run pre-invoices, prepare mill test report, prepare shipping packets, and schedule trucks for pick up
- Use lean manufacturing principles to study/standardize procedures, in order to improve efficiency
- Contact shipping Logistics assigned
- Contact overseas companies for shipping instructions and prepare all export documents
- Close job files after shipments
- Issue box and give to Accounting
- Ensure correct shipment of all orders (local, international, hazardous, etc.) to include accurate paperwork and accountability of items
- Print daily shipping lists
- Coordinate with staff for scheduling daily deliveries and shipping needs (organize strategy)
- E-mail shipping paperwork electronically, locally, and Internationally
- Prepare Duty Drawback paperwork on a quarterly basis
- Compile AES and Air Way bills necessary for orders
- Prepare Commodity Flow Survey on a quarterly basis
- Box all completed work orders and coordinate digital scanning/retention by vendor
- Communication Proficiency
- Ability to Problem Solve inventory and transaction discrepancies and analysis
- Proficiency in math skills
- Proficiency in interpreting/forecasting shipping needs to meet customer needs
- Technical Capacity of manufacturing processes
- Personal Effectiveness/Credibility/Ethics
- Proficiency in typing and 10-key
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- Desired proficiency utilizing Accuterm
- Well Organized
- Ability to multi-task

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.
No travel is expected for this positionRequired Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of planning experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with purchasing, expediting, MRP/ ERP systems, quality/continuous improvement initiatives, manufacturing safety practices and MS Office applications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
