- Develop the company's marketing strategy based on market research
- Define managers' sales targets. Analyse the activity and suggest improvements
- Assess quality of products or services involved: servicing companies or customer services
- Determine sales targets. Organise department (staff, introduction of products, marketing actions,...)
- Analyse market share/sales/profit margins for product (range). Suggest improvements (promotion campaign/align with competition...)
- Administrative management of Sales ledger (customer accounts) (credits, advance payments, outstanding amounts ...)
- Coordinate department activities. Analyse monitoring instruments and make suggestions for improvement
- Establish administrative procedures for handling of orders. Check application of the administrative procedures
- Determine the strategic sales objectives of department
- Establish marketing budget and monitor budget allocated to each company product
- Establish and monitor promotional campaign budget for a product or product range
- Price, promotion and product placement negotiation during promotional activities
- Start-up and organise promotional events (contests, special offers...) at sales points (shopping mall, website...)
- Organise, follow-up and technically support activity of sales team
- Organise development of a promotional campaign (logistics, negotiate with stores...). Follow-up promotional campaign
- Organise dispatching of orders. Inform customers on the availability of the products
- Contribute to the formulation of production planning using information collected with customers and internal departments
- Handle particular files or transfer them to respective service (disputes...)
- Define/contribute to product development strategy with research & development, production and commercial departments...
- Analyse results of promotional campaign (achievement of objectives...) and introduce possible improvements
- Negotiate commercial contracts with purchasing bodies (references, rates list, promotions...)
- Carry out market surveys. Communicate with commercial departments, general management...
- Develop promotional campaign for specific product or product range. Define characteristics of advertising media

- Supervise international sales networks or distribution channels (subsidiaries, commercial agencies...)
