Our client is a leading manufacturer of electrical equipment. They are currently looking for a Business Development Manager for their sensor business, who will be responsible for business development activity, integration of related subsidiaries and defining action plans.Responsibilities:
  • Train and lead the sales teams on the targeted applications / segments / key offers.
  • Help the local sales team to identify targets and convert them from prospects to customers.
  • For tailored/customised/expert offers, ensure smooth coordination between all the parties involved (sales, R&D, etc.) to prepare the right offer and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Identifying market trends and the need to develop the offering.
  • You will be used to working in a multicultural environment and will have strong links with the Group’s various entities:
  • Marketing, on the offer (current & future).
  • Subsidiary sales, on pricing and technical feasibility.
  • Subsidiary development teams, on adapting the offering and specific customer requirements.
Requirements:
  • Higher education qualification in electrical engineering/electronics/automation.
  • Experience in a sales/business development environment or as a project manager for technical products.
  • 8-10 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Fluent English required, French and Italian are a plus.
  • Open to travelling up to 50% to company and subsidiary sites.
