Reporting to the International Customer Operations Manager, you will join a team of passionate staff who are playing their part in making sure that we are Here for Good.The International Customers Operations Officer focuses on the critical administrative tasks associated with a student’s enrolment record, with a focus on accuracy of data and compliance with internal and external processes and procedures. It encompasses liaison with students, agents, third party partners, corporate partners and university partners.On a typical day in this role you will:Be responsible for processing new and continuing student change requests including the assessment and issuing of admissions documentation within agreed turnaround timelines, international admission requirements and international admission procedures and standards.Ensuring timely and accurate processing of student requests, eCoEs and offer letters in order to maximise the conversion of enquiries into offers and enrolments.Communicating outcomes of student change application requests to required stakeholders.Liaising with onshore and offshore stakeholders, partners and potentially education agents to; gather related documentation, communicate outcomes and feedback, issue offer letters and CoEs, and conduct appropriate follow up where needed.Conducting screening of application documents prior to routing to academic staff for review where required.Managing requests and applications for transfer of credit for prior learning and communicating subsequent outcomes.Contributing to the continuous improvement of systems and internal business processes.Ensure Compliance with Admission Policy Requirements and Australian Government Legislative Requirements (ESOS Act, HESA, DOHA etc).Assure the integrity of admission decisions, guaranteeing that applicants meet the specified entry criteria (or special entry criteria) under delegated authority from the PVC / Dean.This is a permanent full-time, ideally starting at the end of April. For operational reasons, the role will have to be based full-time in our new and beautiful Surry Hills Campus.Who are you?To be successful in the International Customers Operations Officer position you will have:Experience working with international students and understanding of education policies and regulations (with Admission Policy Requirements and Australian Government Legislative Requirements in particular)Industry knowledge relating to all aspects of student education and trainingHigh level of attention to detail as the role involves a lot of document processing and cross checkingGreat organisational skills with an ability to manage competing deadlines while working under pressureProficient in the Microsoft Office suite of applications (e.g. Word, Excel)Customer focused and able to deliver to a high level of service to internal and external customers.Great problem solving skills and an ability to analyse, assess and review objectivelyWhilst we are very much team focus, you need to be comfortable working independentlyPlease note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
