Plan, organize and control capital and leasehold decisions through the implementation of key performance indicators and data analysis to ensure deliverables meet objectives.Roles &Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross functional teams to develop project scopes that include technical requirements, trade budgets, and construction scheduling
  • Manage capital project financials and construction to manage projects on time and within budget
  • Development and maintain capital leasehold and operating budget(s) within established guidelines for assigned projects
  • Manage facility staff and plan maintenance activities in the absence of the Facility Manager
  • Manage data collection and analysis of facility and operations equipment utilized to modify maintenance plans and new equipment needs geared towards achieving 100% reliability
  • Develop and implement cost-effective maintenance strategies and programs to assure business continuity i.e., predictive maintenance program, preventive maintenance, compliance, maintenance, and service delivery
  • Develop balance scorecard and key performance indicators (KPIs) for measuring performance to assure continuous improvement
  • Support companies risk mitigation programs as outlined by company's risk insurer
  • Provide support to facility operations as needed to support the company for business relocation, acquisitions, and other special projects
  • Ensure environmental, health and safety guidelines are integrated into the facility workforce and followed
  • Assist facilities management in various administrative roles, including but not limited to: Manage cost effective equipment and facility services contracts, establish written policies and procedures, and manage personnel space planning
Qualifications:
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
  • Must be able to effectively approach and prioritize multiple tasks at any given time
  • Previous experience with budgets and vendor negotiations
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or other related field
  • Master's Degree in Facilities or Maintenance Management or other Engineering principals is a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience or equivalent in industrial/commercial maintenance
  • Computer Aided Drafting, AutoCad preferred
  • Microsoft project or comparable project scheduling software
Training Requirements:
  • Regulatory and other training requirements are site specific and are based on the facility training requirements at that location.
