- Initiate strategy development on defined target topics and align overall Marketing topics and special projects.
- Execute the development of the strategic / marketing plan indicating the steps a team will use to achieve a shared objective, covering all aspects of a project including budget, timeline, and personnel requirements.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define strategic objectives, priorities, and initiatives aligned with the company's long-term vision and goals.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify market trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Develop strategic plans, roadmaps, and frameworks to guide the company's strategic direction and priorities.
- Facilitate strategic planning sessions, workshops, and discussions with key stakeholders to gain alignment and commitment to strategic initiatives.
- Execute the development of Marketing solutions for assigned Commercial Projects in order to enhance the efficiency of Polymers portfolio & services in the Mid-market.
- Support on the implementation of strategic initiatives and projects, ensuring timely execution, resource allocation, and milestone achievement.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and oversee project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams, facilitate problem-solving, and resolve conflicts as needed.
- Communicate project updates, status reports, and key milestones to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Compile input from various functions, like marketing, controlling, purchasing, controlling and corporate development into a strategic marketing context.
- Overcome common objections and questions.
- Discover any/all unidentified product needs, and work with Solutions to scope out and troubleshoot tech issues.
- Develop financial models and scenario planning tools based on marketing, financial, operations, and logistics input as a basis for executive decision making.
- Scanning and analysing relevant commercial information like economic developments, industry news services, market trends, customer inputs, and competitor information. Draw fact-based conclusions and initiate action if required.
- Performing detailed analysis of key market trends for identified products - covering customers, competitors, social economic and political environment; and regulatory aspects, factoring macroeconomic and mega trends.
- Translate market data, analysis and information into effective and executable competitive insights based on detailed discussion internally with the team and larger commercial team and other relevant functions of OQM.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of strategic initiatives and projects.
- Monitor and analyse performance data to track progress against strategic objectives and identify areas for improvement.
- Track profitability and status of proposed programs and improvement projects.
- Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate project status, performance trends, and insights to stakeholders.
- Drive organizational change initiatives to support the implementation of strategic priorities and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with PTC and organizational development teams to develop change management plans, training programs, and communication strategies.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to employees and teams to navigate change and transition effectively.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, operations, finance, and HR, to align strategic initiatives with business goals and priorities.
- Maintain and update relevant marketing processes and procedures.
- Maintain the data base of key market data on identified products on demand-supply, cost curve, competitors, customer segments, price trends, outlook etc., and also various consultant's reports / study.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Marketing, Management or similar.
- Master's degree preferred.
- 5 - 8+ years relevant experience in similar role.
- Experience in strategic planning, including the development of long-term objectives, goals, and initiatives aligned with organizational vision and mission.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Experience in implementing strategic initiatives and projects.
- Experience in change management processes, including stakeholder engagement, communication, and organizational alignment to facilitate successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Experience navigating complex work processes, tight timelines, and changing teams.
- Extremely detail oriented and organized.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex ideas, proposals, and project updates to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify challenges, develop innovative solutions, and overcome obstacles in the execution of strategic initiatives.
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources effectively, and mitigate risks in pursuit of strategic objectives.

- Basic proficiency in data analysis tools related with project performance metrics, identify trends, and extract insights to support decision-making.
- Understanding of financial concepts and metrics, including budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis, to evaluate the financial implications of strategic initiatives and projects.
