Senior Project Manager (Construction)

• Direct and manage project development.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
• Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Project Manager or Contracts Manager in the residential construction sector, with a strong track record in delivering large-scale housing and apartment projects.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of project financial management.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in risk and subcontractor management.
• IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification is highly desirable.
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage teams in high-pressure situations.
