- Work directly with our CFO, Sr. Director FP&A and other key stakeholders on building out a best-in-class finance infrastructure for our Technical Accounting (financial and operational) and Tax (corporate, indirect and employment) teams
- Supervise the develop our tax strategy, and together with the Director Tax an execution and implementation approach
- Based on input from stakeholders and your own experience you will establish priorities, define and set targets and objectives for your teams for both long and short term strategies
- Responsible for establishing and maturing necessary policies, processes and tooling with a focus on continuous improvement to deliver greater efficiencies and maximizing effectiveness of execution
- You will ensure timely, accurate and compliant financial reporting for all locations and entities globally along with proactively identifying issues and challenges, together with providing recommendations on how to solve for them to our CFO and extended leadership teams
- Partner with senior management to ensure the company meets or exceeds our financial goals and targets and contribute towards the development of the financial and company strategy and execution
- Be a sparring partner for our CFO and other key members of the finance team
- Drive strategic projects that impact the finance function
- 10+ years experience with 3+ years experience managing secondary managers too.
- Proven track-record in a finance leadership role in multi-entity, dynamic environments, especially in digital and tech organizations or in a Big Four accounting firm
- Enjoy managing and leading through change and energized by problem solving
- Experience in managing accounting including IFRS/full-Consolidation
- Strong business acumen
- Demonstrated ability to build out and lead high-performing teams
- Registered Accountant - German or Italian Chartered Accountant preferred
- Has comprehensive experience with auditing processes, ideally in a listed company environment
- German or Italian language skills are a plus
