Job DescriptionVisual Designer InternLocation - Santa Clara, CA HybridResponsibilities:As the Visual Designer Intern, you will play a vital role in expanding and enhancing our brand presence through illustrations, photography, and animation. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment, while contributing to the growth and success of our brand.Illustrations/AnimationCollaborating with the lead designer to update existing illustrations and create new sets that align with our brand identity for marketing campaigns, social media content, website graphics and product.Collaborate/conceptualize with UX to develop assets to integrate micro interactions and animations into the product interface.Create animated assets such as GIFs, short videos, and motion graphics to enhance our digital content and storytelling.Ensure all visual assets align with our brand guidelines and maintain a consistent look and feel.Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies(ai), and best practices in illustration, photography, and animation.Experience:Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Animation or related field.Strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in illustration, photography, and animation.Understanding of basic motion graphics and animationProficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.) and other relevant design and animation software.Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling.Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Prior internship or relevant experience in illustration, photography, or animation is a plus.Use and familiarity of the Chegg product, specifically Chegg Study.Have the ability to work for 10 continuous weeks in the summerHave the ability to work 40 hours per weekCan be onsite 3 days/ week based in our Santa Clara, CA office.A wonderful personality and enthusiasm!Why do we exist?Students are working harder than ever before to stabilize their future.
