Location : Holly Road - Skegness, United Kingodm Job AdvertLOCATION: Skegness basedJOB TITLE: Multi-Skilled Process Engineering ApprenticeJOB TYPE: Full-TimeHOURS OF WORK: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:00, with college release daysSALARY RANGE: CompetitiveJOB PURPOSE:To train from scratch to be a highly technical Multi-Skilled Process Engineer, to improve processes, efficiency, and technologies across production to support the growth and progression of the business. Training and support will be provided throughout the apprenticeship period via work-based learning and attendance at a local college for relevant apprenticeship courses for successful candidate.Key Duties and Skills:
  • Engaged with Micronclean and current team to be mentored to learn a Process Engineering mindset of production.
  • Willingness to learn the production and assembly processes.
  • Committed to learning and installing electrical controls and systems.
  • Gain knowledge and understanding of electrical, mechanical drawings and schematics, mechanical manufacturing, fitting and assembly.
  • Gain an understanding of Pneumatics.
  • Problem solving and diagnosis.
  • Identify, look for and implement innovative technologies.
  • Working and coordinating with external companies.
  • Build relationships within Engineering, Production, R&D departments.
  • Support in driving new projects.
  • Document preparation and control.
  • Appreciation for Health & Safety.
  • Align themselves with the company SKIEs values.
The Candidate:An enthusiastic individual looking to pursue a career in Engineering. Within the Process Engineering team there will be the scope to develop both mechanical and electrical skillset. This would suit an individual who is dedicated, with a good attention to detail, good organisation skills, with an analytical and logical approach.Required:
  • Minimum 4 GCSEs grade 4 and above including English and Maths.
  • Computer literate.
  • Dependable with effective time keeping.
  • A positive attitude and good communication skills.
  • Be able to commute either by bus, train, or car to college.
