- Partners and works with the European SG&A, Marketing & HR teams in day-to-day operations, aiming to develop a performing and reliable Indirect supply base
- Identifies, drives, and delivers opportunities on Sustainable Cost Advantage to support annual procurement and business targets
- Implements a strong and sustainable commodity strategy to ensure long-term cost and cash performance
- Is responsible for managing relationships with key suppliers in the region
- Ensures market intel sharing with key stakeholders and internal business partners
- Delivers key targets of procurement organization on cost, cash, cost avoidance
- Project management
- Implement the existing strategy across the Indirect space
- Work with the Indirect Category Manager, the Indirect Procurement Director, and the team to develop and execute a strategy that supports current business and supports future growth.
- Own and report on categories procurement functional performance metrics (KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)).
- Ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders is critical to this role.
- Develop strong personal relationships with stakeholders and leadership team across the business.
- Deliver outstanding service to key stakeholders with a view to becoming an invaluable business partner of key stakeholder function (HR, Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing teams)
- Develop a risk and benefits-based approach to supplier relationship management
- Develop a standard approach to SRM (Supplier Management) across the team, ensuring strategic and key suppliers are managed appropriately dependent on criticality and risk
- Master's degree in Procurement, Business or a related field
- 3-5 years proven experience in procurement
- Best practices on executing procurement strategies across the various categories
- Experience in delivering exceptional procurement value in a complex environment
- Experience in collaborating with stakeholders and understanding business aspects of projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence stakeholders
- Proficient in English (written and spoken), French or Dutch is plus
- Global sourcing experience is a plus
- Project management is a plus
- International Retail, FMCG, 3PL/4PL experience is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Decision making: Operational and/or tactical
