We are looking for the next HR game changer to join our fantastic team at HEOR. Additionally, you’ll get to do this in a genuine people centred business. This is a great opportunity to enhance and develop your HR skills, knowledge and career at pace.Initially we can offer a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave within the team, ideally starting in August 2024. This role will be office based or hybrid with 2-3 days working with the fabulous team in the Bicester office.Reporting to the HR Manager, and supporting all aspects of HR, you will play a vital role in supporting employee development initiatives, employee relations, recruitment and learning and development. We’re looking for someone with a background in operational HR and a strong understanding of employment law and HR procedures.Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Be the first point of contact for HR-related queries
  • Coordinate and own new starter onboarding and induction ensure a smooth entry and settling in experience for all new HEOR colleagues
  • Provide HR advice and support to colleagues across the business
  • Maintain critical payroll and benefits processes and administration
  • Support Talent Acquisition with recruitment activity including job postings, screening resumes to find amazing people to work with us, scheduling interviews and following up with feedback on interview outcomes
  • Support L&D with coordination of key programmes, training events, and learning initiatives
  • Maintain the HRIS so the data is accurate and up to date, to enable accurate reporting and data analysis of key people metrics
  • Coordinate and conduct offboarding processes
  • Keep HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook up to date
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
RequirementsRequirements of the role:
  • Foundation certificate in People Management or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of key employment legislation and regulations
  • Strong knowledge of essential HR practices and procedures
Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience in HR support role in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrable ability to work on own initiative with a strong continuous improvement mentality
  • Demonstrable problem-solving and interpersonal skills, upholding approachable HR ethic
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid Microsoft office skills across the full suite
  • Previous HRIS experience is preferable
