Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (QEHS) ManagerOverview:
As the Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (QEHS) Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of integrated management systems to ensure compliance with quality standards, environmental regulations, and health and safety requirements. You will be responsible for driving continuous
improvement initiatives, managing audits and certifications, and promoting a culture of excellence and sustainability across the organization.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain integrated QEHS management systems in alignment with relevant standards and regulations, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
  • Lead risk assessments and hazard identification processes to minimize risks to quality, environment, health,and safety within the workplace.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits to assess compliance with QEHS standards and drive corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish QEHS objectives, targets, and performance indicators, and monitor progress towards achieving them.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees at all levels on QEHS policies, procedures, and best practices, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct training programs to enhance QEHS awareness and competency among employees, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes to prevent recurrence of quality, environmental, health, and safety incidents.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of QEHS performance metrics, including leading and lagging indicators, to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of emerging QEHS trends, regulations, and industry best practices, and recommend strategies to maintain compliance and drive operational excellence.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and industry associations to stay informed of regulatory changes and industry benchmarks.
Qualifications:
  • Bacheloru0027s degree in Quality Management, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, NEBOSH, IOSH) preferred.
  • Proven experience in QEHS management, preferably in a manufacturing, construction, or similar industry within the Irish market.
  • In-depth knowledge of QEHS management systems, standards, and regulations, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and relevant Irish legislation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving orientation with a proactive approach to addressing QEHS challenges and driving continuous improvement.
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of quality, environmental stewardship, and workplace health and safety.
