Job Title: Software Development Engineer in TestLocation: Mexicali, MexicoOur Division: Trimble CloudAbout the RoleTrimble is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to develop and execute automated and manual tests to ensure product quality. The SDET responsibilities include test case development, manual testing, designing and implementing automated UI / API tests for web and API first backend applications. The responsibilities will also include monitoring all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.What You Will Be DoingUnderstand product requirementsDevelop Test planDevelop test casesAutomate test casesConductManual testingAutomation testingPerformance testingCoordinate with your Development and SRE team and complete testing on time, report bugs and track them to closureTake part in team standups, product review meetings, weekly meetingsCollaborate with stakeholders for troubleshooting product issuesWhat Skills & Experience You Should BringBachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology.3+ years of experience in Automation testingUnderstanding of REST APIs and backend servicesHands on experience in setting up CI, test report generation with any of the tools like Allure, Extent reports, Zephyr, etc.Strong in programming language likes Python / Java / C#Good experience in any of the automation testing frameworks like seleniumAbility to write and execute Database queries (SQL / NoSQL)Prior knowledge in IoT based systems is a plusExposure to at least one cloud provider platform (AWS/Azure) is a plusFluency in EnglishAbout TrimbleTrimble is an industrial technology company, concentrated on helping the world work better.
