As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, coordination, and execution of low-cost housing projects. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and government officials to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of low-cost housing projects
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Manage project resources, including contractors and subcontractors
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including government officials and community members
- Identify and address any project-related issues or challenges
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, specifically in low-cost housing
- Experience working in a consulting firm
- PMP Registered - preferred
- Extensive knowledge of low-cost housing construction practices and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership abilities and ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in project management software
- Experience working with government agencies and understanding of government regulations and processes
