Oakleaf Partnership is pleased to recruit for an ER Specialist to join our forward-thinking ER team for an international insurer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for ER to join an organization that has its employees’ well-being at the heart of everything we do.Responsibilities
  • Manage a range of formal and informal ER processes, including disciplinary investigations and hearings, grievance investigations and hearings, restructuring and redundancies, performance management, and absence management and support.
  • Ensure consistent and efficient application of policies and processes.
  • Advise managers and People colleagues on the ER implications of complex organizational change proposals.
  • Be an active ER partner to the business by understanding and addressing ER issues within specific assigned business areas.
  • Participate in People projects to support the function.
About the Candidate
  • Experienced in ER and managing and resolving complex ER issues spanning disciplinaries, grievances, and redundancies.
  • Strong relationship management skills – ability to develop and maintain relationships with key members of the business.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of employment legislation, ACAS codes of practice, and case law.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Previous experience working in a professional services company.
  • Professionally qualified (CIPD or equivalent).
