WHAT YOU'LL DOAs a Knowledge Intern within BCG's Climate & Sustainability, you will be part of a fast-growing and entrepreneurial team that aims to be the top advisor and thought leader for both Brazil's private and public sectors in the net-zero transition and sustainable development, developing expertise related to net-zero transition across industries and sectors, working together with BCG case and proposal teams to deliver customized knowledge assets and relevant climate action, sustainability and ESG topic advisory.In addition, with guidance from senior colleagues, you will support your topic/sector in developing intellectual property & knowledge assets and managing content on internal BCG websites, ensuring availability of latest, high-quality content. You will also support business development and go-to-market efforts for Climate & Sustainability business, as opportunities arise, contributing research and analysis to marketing efforts conferences, and publications.Climate & Sustainability is a fast-growing practice at BCG and a driving force for BCG's ambition to become the most positively impactful company in the world. Knowledge@BCG consists of the Knowledge Team (KT), Data & Research Services (DRS) and Knowledge & Collaboration Solution (KCS). KT is a group of experts within respective fields or areas providing industry, functional and geographic expertise to consulting teams. KT members are aligned to Practice Areas, sometimes serving as members of case or project teams. KT offers insight into a topic or function derived from BCG's knowledge base and case/project experience. The members of our DRS team work alongside consulting team colleagues to bring advanced research capabilities to support projects and clients. KCS team is a cross-functional team equipping BCGers with internal and external knowledge resources and digital collaboration tools, enabling them to work smarter and with increased productivityYOUR EMPLOYEE TYPE ISIntern / Co-OpYOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, economics or related field that is expected to graduate in 2024/2025;A demonstrable passion for climate change and sustainability issues.Ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment.Fluency in English, both written and spoken.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders.A strong academic background with relevant experience in environmental science, sustainable development, or related fields, such as:Energy transitionClimate transitionNet zero & decarbonization standards and levers,Emission accountingClimate Policy & Regulation, among othersA passion for climate change and sustainability issues as well as flexibility and resourcefulness are required for success in a fast-growing practice area.An understanding of or keen interest in energy systems, renewable energy, climate adaptation, emission accounting, and net-zero initiatives.0-2 years of experience through internships, volunteer work, or projects related to climate change, sustainability, or natural resource management (e.g., energy, water, agriculture).EQUAL OPPORTUNITYBoston Consulting Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer. KT members are affiliated to BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda and building and deploying leading edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insight.BCG's Knowledge Team members are staffed on cases and help co-create insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function and complex research and analysis of market information. KT members also support the PA's business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients.BCG's Climate Team is looking for an enthusiastic and committed intern to support our projects in climate change and sustainability.
