We’re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.As the Sr. Market Access Manager will be responsible for leading the creation of end-to-end price and reimbursement strategies, including the business cases in support of these strategies.Working on public and private value propositions; comprehensive value dossiers to Health Technology Assessment (HTA) agencies including public and private drug plans; and execution of payer contracting strategies to optimize access.The position is located in Toronto and office-based employees are expected to be in office for a minimum of 4 to 12 days per month. flexible work arrangement are possible.PRA (Pricing, Reimbursement & Access) Strategy:Own and advocate for the Canadian PRA strategy ensuring alignment and support across functions, and with leadership locally and globally.Partner with a field-based access team and cross-functional members to execute access strategies and tactics.Business Case Development:Lead the development of launch price and net price business cases, with support of cross-functional partners (pricing, forecasting, brand, field team leader), including the approval at the local and global level.Develop a clear and concise narrative around the PRA strategy and financial assessment.Value propositions:
  • Own the development of the value proposition that forms the basis of the PRA strategy leveraging input from a dynamic team of cross-functional partners (Global PRA, Health Outcomes, Medical, Marketing, Regional Market Access Team).
Comprehensive value dossiers (submissions):
  • Own the development and execution of best-in-class value dossiers to national and/or regional HTA bodies and payers (public and private).
  • Lead the planning and development of sound clinical and economic arguments.
  • Shape the outcome of therapeutic class reviews affecting Lilly products conducted by HTA agencies or provincial drug plans (e.g., formulary modernization, class reviews).
Pricing and Contracting:
  • Lead development of innovative value-based pricing schemes including pCPA negotiation and product listing agreement strategies in partnership with a core cross-functional team.
  • Champion business cases supporting product listing structures/offerings and prices through affiliate and global approval processes.
  • Provide the answers needed by payer customers requiring supplemental PRA dossiers, budget impact analyses/ forecasts in order to maintain or gain access to Lilly medicines.
Brand Business Plan/Business Partner Interface and Support:
  • Be the champion for PRA input into key strategic/business planning processes in the affiliate and other relevant cross-functional team initiatives.
  • Be the PRA expert for the sales and marketing teams where appropriate on reimbursement issues and requests.
Requirements:A university degree in the health sciences, business, or related field of study.Experience in market accessAdditional Skills/Preferences:Experience in market access focused within: diabetes / oncology / immunology / neuroscience drugs is strongly preferred.Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to lead without authority and partner effectively across all levels of an organization.Analytical and business savvy, able to analyze, critically appraise and/or interpret complex data from multiple sources (i.e., clinical, health economic, financial other) to create successful market access strategies and develop business cases and provide meaningful business solutions.BilingualAdditional Information:All new employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of being hired by Lilly as described Lilly’s Covid-19 Vaccination Policy.
