At the heart of HCA's trusted and reliable equipment range lies a team of talented and dedicated people committed to providing industry leading after sales service and reliable solutions.The OpportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Trades Assistant to join our team based in Forrestdale. Working an afternoon shift, you will play a crucial role assisting Fitters in the remanufacturing of key components across the Hitachi product range. This role will give you access to OEM training, benefits, and an opportunity to build on existing skills.Main responsibilities include:

Pressure wash machine components
Overhead Crane operation
Forklift operation
Assist Tradesmen to disassemble components in line with procedures when required
Maintain a high level of accuracy when carrying out final QA inspections and pack units when ready for dispatch
Assist in store control including receiving and dispatch of Reman items
Soda Blast a range of machine components
Maintain a clean and tidy working environment

As a Trades Assistant, you will have a strong safety focus and abide by site safety processes at all times.To be successful in this role you will need to:

Be mechanically minded with a willingness to learn
Have the ability to recognise basic product quality deviations/faults
Good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
Ability to work flexible hours/shifts and overtime when required
Forklift License, dogging ticket and blasting experience will be advantageous
