- Develop and deploy methods across all asset classes to assess electronic market liquidity with a sustainable way of identifying changes relevant to risk management and control calibration.
- Work across Risk, first line technology and E-Trading quant teams to build systematic access to data required to assess electronic liquidity.
- Deliver value-add insight and communications on market liquidity to stakeholders across Risk and Business areas.
- Support the wider Technology Pod development targets and leading E-Trading Control Testing reviews and analysis where required.
- Evolve responses to and usage of AI / ML within E-Trading and the ETRM Function as opportunities arise.
- Proficiency with Computer programming is essential (common relevant languages include R, Python, Java).
- Knowledge and experience of wider Data Science concepts, including Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning preferred.
- Knowledge of E-Trading products and electronic trade flows with a focus on automated trading systems and controls desirable.
- Strong knowledge of financial products with an understanding of market liquidity desirable.
- Ability to manage complex projects, amongst competing priorities and deliver sustainable, scalable solutions to facilitate growth in awareness and widespread adoption of liquidity analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and competence in portraying complex content in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior management and other stakeholders to successfully implement and deliver change.
