- Provide support and basic trouble shooting for current operations.
- Investigate, gather and analyze data for specifically assigned, recurring tasks.
- Identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas.
- Implement new manufacturing processes and technology.
- Analyze assignments and determine engineering specifications.
- Compile necessary information to document the design solution required for adoption of a design.
- Contribute to the success of the team by taking on additional responsibilities and completing tasks as assigned.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
- Strong interpersonal skills with focus on teamwork.
- Availability to work 24-40 hours per week between the hours of 8am-5pm, Mon-Friday, ongoing (not seasonal).
- Actively enrolled in and pursuing a B.S. or M.S. Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Allen Bradley PLC programming (ControlLogix), preferred.
- Autocad experience, preferred.
- Willing to work hands-on with tools and mechanical equipment
- Strong Mechanical aptitude
- Strong organizational skills and written communication skills
- Self-managed, hard-working, great attitude, ready to learn
