Position SummaryRegistered Nurse for Intensive Care Unit at Latrobe Regional HealthAbout Latrobe Regional HealthLatrobe Regional Health, nestled in the picturesque region of Gippsland, is actively seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Our ICU, a 14-bed unit within our expansive 328-bed public hospital, caters to a diverse patient population both medical and surgical, including Intensive Care, Coronary Care, & High Dependency.We pride ourselves on our experienced staff who create a safe and nurturing environment for patients and their families. The unit is under the continuous supervision of a Consultant Intensivist, ensuring round-the-clock expert care. A diverse mix of professionals allows for on-site training and supervision, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.About the RoleThe Registered Nurse will be expected to:

Critically think and analyse nursing practice.
Engage in therapeutic and professional relationships.
Maintain practice capability.
Conduct comprehensive assessments.
Develop nursing practice plans.
Provide safe, appropriate, and responsive quality nursing practice.
Evaluate outcomes to inform nursing practice.

Requirements

AHPRA registration with no restrictions.
Recent experience in ICU/CCU preferred.
Relevant Postgraduate Qualification desirable.
Current Australian Working Rights.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
