Week 1: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday at 13:30-21:30
Week 2: Monday-Friday at 7:00-15:00
Week 3: Monday-Friday at 13:30-21:30
Week 4: Monday-Wednesday, Friday-Sunday at 7:00-15:00What is involved?
- Ensuring the effective preparation of sterile consumables (dressings, linen, instruments, and equipment) by the process of decontamination, inspection assembly and packing within predefined quality standards.
- Rigorously checking, washing, laying up and packing sets of theatre instruments to meet contract specifications within predefined quality standards.
- Safely operating and monitoring machines and equipment (washer/disinfectors, ultrasonic and sterilisers) effectively.
- Ensuring that repairs and missing instruments or equipment are recorded and logged on the Tracking and Traceability computer system (SynergyTrak).
- Ensuring that repaired instruments or equipment are returned to stock or the appropriate coded sets or the Trust's appointed person.
- An annual salary of £22,383.00 plus a 5% performance bonus, and generous shift allowances if you work overtime/unsociable hours! Plus a higher cost of living allowance if you work in London.
