- Oversee the daily pastry operations and ensure high-quality standards are met
- Participate in menu planning and execute dessert items in a timely manner
- Train, mentor, and lead the pastry team to achieve their full potential
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with other kitchen teams to ensure cross-functionality within the kitchen
- Manage inventory levels of pastry ingredients and supplies
- Continuously research and implement new and innovative dessert ideas
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pastry arts, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of food safety regulations and procedures
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
