As a Games Delivery Deputy Manager, you will play a key role within Gaming Product.

The aim of the Games Delivery department is to ensure delivery of gaming products whilst upholding the highest standard of quality assurance throughout our gaming offering.

This is an opportunity to join our leadership team and use your influence to directly contribute to product quality and operational efficiency. Demanding a skilled leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, you will tackle unique challenges, oversee three teams and be an essential partner in Gaming Product's success. Collaboration across departments and fostering a culture of continual development are vital aspects of this role.

Within the Games Delivery department, your responsibilities extend to management of three distinct teams:

  • Product QA Team – This team ensures product quality and standards are consistently met for our gaming products prior to launching them into the markets.
  • Release Operations Team – This team delivers the gaming roadmap planned to our markets with precision and efficiency.
  • Live QA Team – This team ensures ongoing quality is maintained on our gaming products post-deployment of releases.

Your leadership will be instrumental in coaching initiatives, fostering a culture of operational excellence and accountability. Your role is to continuously improve workflows and processes that maximise team efficiency and effectiveness.

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experienced manager with a proven track record of developing a team.
  • Ability to motivate and lead the teams to ensure delivery is of the highest standard.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise work under pressure.
  • Keen interest in gaming products.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of software testing principles and Jira would be beneficial.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leading the day-to-day operations of the Games Delivery team.
  • Coaching Games Delivery Team Leaders, fostering a learning and development culture within the teams.
  • Ensuring the testing and release roadmaps are completed to the highest standard.
  • Delivery of projects, reporting and process optimisation.
  • Signing off and reviewing test scripts.
  • Liaising with other departments for smooth and close collaboration.
