The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our company adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards as we continue to grow and evolve. As our compliance specialist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to drive best practices in compliance across the organization.As Transport and Customs LeaderStrategyI optimize transport and customs procedures with clear Standard Operating Procedures, IT development, and market benchmarks. I react to unpredictable events.I implement and optimize customs processes. I have the ability to implement regulatory watch and apply new regulations, to influence supply and procurement solutionsI assess the customs processes and I have the ability to periodically complete risk analysis, identify risk areas, and adopt relevant action plans. I ensure the readiness and compliance of the business for customs audits.I anticipate and estimate transport volumes, and write operational procedures with carriers/hubs/suppliers, to ensure shipping / receiving goods at the right time/cost/qualityI manage the economic part of my activity (invoice, monitoring, PNL), lead negotiations with service providers, and respect the referencing of transport and customs costs.OperationalI ensure that all shipments (products, fixtures, and other materials subject to importation) are delivered to the stores/warehouse at their committed lead time and cost. I manage the shipments (including processing of shipping documents and records) in a timely and accurate manner.I guarantee good synchronization between warehouses, freight forwarders, customs clearance service providers, Decathlon stores, and other functional departments by leading performance meetings, coaching all service providers and internal partners, and fixing supply chain milestones.I manage service providers (customs brokers, transport providers) and their performancesAs the starting line to your sportive career, you also get access to a global network of training, support, and mentorship across 61 countries.
